DEW Engineering provides a wide range of servicesand products to our military and commercial customers including : design, test and evaluation, prototyping and development, andmanufacturing.CoorsTek is looking for a Business DevelopmentManager (m / f / d) Aerospace & Defenseto assist DEW Engineering.The successful candidate will be an employee of CoorsTek and willwork remotely.As the Business Development Manager, you will beresponsible for generating incremental DEW Engineering businessincluding building and maintaining relationships within accounts,acquiring new business, and supporting company-wide growthstrategies. You will identify and drive new sales opportunitieswith existing and new customers through the customer pathway.Rolesand responsibilities : Identify, develop, and maintain businessgrowth opportunities with customers. Build and maintain strongrelationships with new and existing key customer contacts includingdesign engineers, scientists, buyers, program managers, andexecutives.Develop short- and long-term commercial opportunitypipeline for new and existing markets and accounts.Identify newmarkets ceramics should be actively engaged in. Work with regionaland vertical leaders as well as strategic insights to develop amarket penetration strategy.Drive new product development andgrowth activities including : Initiate, develop and define keycustomer / market requirementsAct as technical consultant / liaisonto customer teamsCommunicate customer needs to the broader DEWEngineering organization including engineering and manufacturingteamsMatch customer needs with the best fit DEW EngineeringfactoriesDrive data supported internal decision-making on long termgrowth investments including capital equipment and R&DprogramsDevelop strategies to meet and exceed increased revenue andprofitability goals, including account specific plans and play alead role in successfully closing business deals. May includecontract and commercial negotiations.Develop and maintain a strongunderstanding of market conditions / trends and customerneeds.Create a collaborative effort between DEW Engineering sales,engineering and manufacturing to deliver what customers need andactively grow the business.Create demand for DEW Engineering armorproducts and solutions through proactive selling and education ofcustomers through proposals and other forums.Build a positive DEWEngineering reputation throughout the market via activities such astrade shows, advertising, strategic partnering and participationwith industry organizations.Adhere to all environmental, health andsafety regulations and follow the environmental and qualitymanagement systems.Your qualifications : Education andexperience : Bachelors’ Degree in Ceramics, Materials Science,Metallurgy or another equivalent field preferred.Seven (7) years oftechnical sales experience, preferably in ceramics / compositesarmor or advanced materials.Experience includes working within theDefense industry to armor applications, threat levels and customerdemands, including involvement in Defense industryorganizations.Full regional understanding of Department of Defensebudgets from all relevant country budgets. Full understanding ofstrategic planning with respect to potential Defense budgets from aprime contract standpoint.Functional / technical knowledge, skillsand abilities : Demonstrated ability to plan and execute extremelycomplex sales or account management process.Strong negotiationskills.Ability to achieve a deep understanding of the full range ofDEW Engineering products and market segments.Strong financialacumen.Ability to manage through uncertain environments whileidentifying new business opportunities.Strong organizational skillsand great attention to detail.Excellent listening, verbal andwritten communication skills.Proficient in working with diversevariety of people from different cultures and backgrounds. Rolespecific details : Preferred locations : United Kingdom, Germany,Netherlands, Czechia.
