The SAP Experience Garage is SAP’s IES’ human-centered innovation hub and community platform provider.  The technology platform is a gamified, peer- and collaborative-learning approach to share knowledge, exchange ideas as well as help connect and inspire one another.

THE ROLE

Job Overview

As a Backend Developer at SAP, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure for our SAP Experience Garage technology platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, UI / UX designers, and product managers, to create seamless and efficient solutions that enhance user experiences and deliver value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development : Develop and maintain the backend components of the SAP Experience Garage platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Coding and Testing : Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while conducting thorough unit testing and debugging.
• Collaboration : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver on project goals.
• Security : Implement best practices for data security and access control, addressing potential vulnerabilities proactively.
• Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of backend code, APIs, and system architecture for reference and knowledge sharing.
• Agile Development : Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
