As a Senior Backend Developer (m / f / d) , you’ll join our small, dynamic tech team to architect, build, and optimize our backend systems. Your work will be at the core of our platform, enabling seamless operations, integrations, and scalability for a global reusable ecosystem that serves users in over 20 countries.

Your areas of responsibility

Backend Architecture : Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using TypeScript and a serverless architecture on AWS .

Serverless Expertise : Build robust solutions with AWS Lambda , leveraging the full AWS ecosystem (e.g., DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation) for high performance and reliability.

GraphQL API Development : Create and manage a GraphQL server to provide seamless integration and data access across our platform.

Database Management : Develop and optimize queries for a PostgreSQL database to ensure efficiency and reliability.

Collaboration : Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.

Code Quality : Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and enforce best practices to ensure a high standard of maintainable and scalable code.

Performance Optimization : Continuously monitor and improve system performance, scalability, and resilience to support rapid growth and new market opportunities.

Agility : Adapt to evolving priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Your profile and skills

Extensive experience with TypeScript and serverless architectures on AWS.

Deep understanding of AWS Lambda , PostgreSQL , and the AWS ecosystem (e.g., API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, etc.).

Strong experience in designing and building GraphQL APIs .

Proficiency in building scalable, distributed systems.

Solid understanding of security best practices for backend development.

Background in agile software development or startup environments.

Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mentality, and eagerness to tackle technical challenges with enthusiasm.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
