Hauptaufgaben

Prepares and cooks food in bulk quantities or individual servings for regular and / or modified diets required for morning, noon, evening, late meals and / or special feedings.

Sets up the sandwich bar and serves the sandwiches during meal times. Breaks the bar down, cleans and restocks it.

Cleans and maintains equipment and work areas in sanitary condition, sweeps and mops floors, washes utensils, tables and refrigerators, and cleans ovens and ranges, and performs cleaning of other kitchen equipment as needed.

Must understand and follow all HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) procedures. Ensures that foods are stored at the correct temperatures to prevent bacterial growth. Maintains accurate food inventories and rotates stock items to prevent spoilage.

In some work situations, cooks at this level may coordinate the work of lower graded cooks engaged in a variety of standard cooking operations simultaneously at one or more work centers. They direct and monitor the prepartion of menu items by lower grade cooks, and review menus and standardized recipes with them to assure that food items are made correctly. Responsible for supervision / oversight of six or more employees in lower graded Positions.

Qualifikationsanforderungen

A2-7404-5 :

Completed vocational training of at least 30 months in the appropriate trade.

5 years of specialized experience. /

Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung von mindestens 30 Monaten in dem entsprechenden Beruf.

ODER

5 Jahre spezialisierte Erfahrung.

A2-7404-6 :

Completed vocational training in the appropriate trade PLUS 2 years experience at a level of difficulty comparable to the Wage Group 5 or equivalent. The applicant must be able to perform the duties independently.

8 years of specialized experience of which 3 years must have been performed at the wage group 5 or equivalent level. /

Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung in dem entsprechenden Beruf PLUS 2 Jahre Berufserfahrung auf einem der Lohngruppe 5 vergleichbaren Schwierigkeitsgrad oder gleichwertig. Der Bewerber muss in der Lage sein, die Aufgaben selbständig auszuführen.

ODER

8 Jahre Berufserfahrung, davon 3 Jahre in der Lohngruppe 5 oder einer gleichwertigen Stufe.
