At OncoRay National Center for Radiation Research in Oncology, about 80 researchers are working together daily in cross-disciplinary programs to develop innovative techniques for cancer treatment by means of biologically individualised and technically optimised radiotherapy. Through the close integration of modern biology, physics, medicine and information science, OncoRay addresses the practical need for preclinical and clinical translational research in radiation oncology. Starting at June 1st, the research group Molecular and Cellular Radiobiology at OncoRay (head : Prof. Nils Cordes) is seeking for a highly motivated and technically skilled

Postdoc (f / m / x)

This full-time position is limited to 24 month. Remuneration is in accordance with the collective agreement of the Länder (TV-L).

In particular, this includes the following tasks :

cell culture work with established and primary gioblastoma cell models

in vivo work with orthotopic glioblastoma models

cell and molecular biology techniques

bioinformatics for analysis of omics data sets

Your profile / requirements :

PhD degree in Biochemistry or Biology

advanced experience in animal work
