Risk Management Agent

Main purpose :

The risk management and fund compliance department identifies, monitors, assesses and reports existing and emerging risks to the management body of the Bank, while supporting business units in defining the risk management framework, providing guidance and promoting risk culture and awareness.

We are looking for a Risk Management Agent to join our team on a permanent contract, report directly to CRO.

Main responsibilities

• Conduct periodic risk management activities (daily / weekly / monthly) and escalate the exceptions in line with internal and regulatory requirements;
• Provide ad-hoc risk assessment / investigation and report to CRO;
• Contribute to the ICLAAP, Group Recovery plan, risk appetite framework etc;
• Assist in reviewing and developing the Bank’s stress testing tools;
• Collect information / data in the production of periodical risk dashboard;
• Improve existing risk management framework in close cooperation with other departments and internal experts;
• Support CRO in following up the remediation actions after risk events occurrence, or addressing internal audit findings etc.

Education, experience and competencies

Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or equivalent.

Minimum 3-5 years’ expertise in one or several relevant risk categories, such as enterprise risk management, credit, operational, market or liquidity risk management. Previous experiences to Custody or Depositary banking activities is a plus.

Good knowledge of European and local banking regulations (e.g. CRR / CRD, CSSF circulars and EBA guidelines)

Solid understanding of financial risk technique and derivatives.

Proficiency in one of the programming languages would be an asset.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to dialogue with different internal stakeholders (Business units and European Headquarter).

Proactivity, team spirit, problem-solving oriented and strong attention to details.

Professional proficiency in English is a must and second language, such as French and Germany is an additional value added.
