Your Job
- Ensure strategic procurement processes, demand management, formal tenders, evaluation of offers, contract negotiations and proposal for contract award and implementation.
- Develop and implement effective, partnering ways of working within the category management structure across geographic regions (e.g. with local category managers) to ensure a cohesive global approach.
- Improve and develop the sub-category strategy at a global level with the stakeholder
- Support the Global Category Manager in the development of sourcing, supplier and risk strategies as well as the process value chain
- Leverage category and market expertise for sourcing categories
- Engage and build strategic relationships with key internal stakeholders and main suppliers
- Support and drive digitization of processes and user satisfaction with tools (Coupa)
- Ensure global interaction with global HR and procurement network within Munich Re Group (e.g. ERGO, MEAG)
