YOUR TEAM
It is our mission at the CARIAD ADAS & AD team to develop one unified technology stack in-house that brings Level 4 automated driving and parking to private cars and at the same time scales down to supply important NCAP safety functionalities to the entire VW fleet - making mobility safer and creating a new level of driving comfort.
You have the opportunity to work in an agile and highly motivated interdisciplinary team to build safe, secure and scalable systems that will shape the future of the Volkswagen group.
As a system development engineer, you will take responsibility for series development in one of the following areas : customer functions for automated / assisted driving, predictive safety and parking, sensor data fusion, video perception, cloud services, localization, driver interaction and hardware. #NextGenDriverAssistance
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Translate the customer function definition into system and component specification
- Take responsibility for the technical concept and system design
- Realization of traceability of the requirements from functional specification to the software implementation (Automotive SPICE)
- Coordination of the relevant systems and components to implement your features and specified requirements
- Forward-looking analysis of relevant technology trends, their underlying technology and concepts
