As an eCommerce Manager (m / w / d), you'll play a key role in driving revenue growth across DE, AT, CH, and PL, with a strong focus on D2C eCommerce and Retail synergies. This hands-on role owns the commercial strategy, sales budgeting, and execution, ensuring revenue targets are met through data-driven decisionmaking and close collaboration with digital marketing, retail, and cross-functional teams. You'll identify opportunities and risks, develop business cases, and lead strategic projects to optimize sales. With a h igh commercial drive, you'll challenge and influence stakeholders to maximize performance and business growth.

The position is based in Germany (Kirchheim / Teck) and requires flexibility for travel across Europe.

eCommerce Manager DE; AT; CH; PL (m / w / d) Kirchheim unter Teck

Key responsibilities

1. eCommerce Revenue Growth & Commercial Strategy

  • Own and drive the eCommerce revenue growth across DE, AT, CH, and PL markets, with a strong focus on the DE market as the second-largest revenue contributor.
  • Develop and execute a commercial strategy that aligns with both own eCommerce and Retail channels (D2C), ensuring overall company growth.
  • Define, plan, and execute sales budgets, ensuring revenue targets are met while maintaining profitability.
  • Work closely with Retail and eCommerce stakeholders to create a holistic commercial plan that leverages synergies across channels.

2. Digital Sales Optimization & Marketing Collaboration

  • Understand the revenue streams from various digital channels (e.g., organic, paid, affiliates, email, direct traffic) and collaborate with digital marketing to optimize performance.
  • Align closely with performance marketing teams to maximize digital marketing strategies, ensuring the right investment mix to drive eCommerce growth.
  • Track and analyse key eCommerce performance metrics (conversion rotes, AOV, ROAS, CAC, etc.) and implement data-driven optimizations.
  • 3. Business Development & Strategic Initiatives

  • Identify growth opportunities and risks (market trends, competitor activities, new web functionalities, new services, internal inefficiencies) and propose strategic initiatives.
  • Develop concise business cases for new initiatives and drive their implementation through project management.
  • Champion and lead cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • 4. Commercial Planning & Execution

  • In collaboration with local marketing, develop and execute a commercial calendar, ensuring the right mix of promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns to drive sales.
  • Work closely with marketing, retail and supply chain, to ensure smooth execution of the eCommerce strategy.
  • Continuously analyse and optimize product category, promotion share, and main building blocks for the eCommerce revenue.
  • 5. Leadership, Stakeholder Management & Challenge- Driven Mindset

  • Be a proactive and accountable leader, driving results-oriented decision-making.
  • Confidently challenge peers and stakeholders when necessary, ensuring that the best commercial decisions are mode.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Retail, Marketing, Digital, Operations, Finance and Technology to align objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Continuously stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to drive innovation in the eCommerce business.

  • Experience & Knowledge required

  • 5 + years proven experience with eCommerce commercial responsibility
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry
  • Degree in Business Administration, Digital Marketing, eCommerce, or related field
  • Experience with BI or other Analytics tools
  • Advanced level Excel skills
  • Programming skills (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience briefing development teams
  • Experience briefing off-line teams
  • Hands-on experience in eCommerce back-end, ideally with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) : catalogue management, content management, merchandising, cross-selling / up-selling, on-site search, A / B testing, personalization, etc.
  • German Native
  • English professional level
  • Other languages are desirable
