WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We offer you a tailor-made career start as a development engineer in innovative projects in the fields of software and electronics development, digitalization, integration of autonomous applications, mechatronics and mechanical engineering, technical-logistical support, system safety, cyber security, testing and trials.
Together with our experienced engineers, you will develop new safe technologies in order to be able to offer our customers the best solutions for their high requirements in the future. You will work directly on one or more international projects right from the start and quickly gain the experience that will qualify you for more challenging positions in our development team. In particular, you will get to know the development work of Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH and the special challenges in the field of defense technology.
A permanent employment contract under the collective bargaining conditions of the metal and electrical industry is a matter of course for us in this position.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
We are looking for graduates who have successfully completed their studies (BSc. / MSc.) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or automotive engineering, have a high degree of initiative and flexibility and work in a structured manner. If you also communicate confidently in German and English, enjoy working in teams and are willing to travel on business, we should get to know each other!
A plus point in the application process is your willingness to work in one of our foreign companies (especially in Australia, the United Kingdom and the USA) for a few years on a major international project after your time as a Junior Engineer.
