About the Role:

As (Senior) FP&A Analyst Germany, you will support the financial planning & analysis of our German commercial business by delivering reliable reporting, insightful analysis, and data-driven forecasts. You will work closely with Finance, Country Management, Marketing, and other business stakeholders to create transparency and deliver quality forecasts on performance, growth and profitability.

In this role, you will help translate financial and operational data into actionable insights, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and contribute to business cases for commercial initiatives. You will operate with ownership for defined topics while learning from experienced finance business partners and FP&A colleagues in a dynamic e-commerce environment.

About your tasks:

• Prepare and improve recurring financial reporting and variance analysis for the German business, helping stakeholders understand key performance drivers.

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by owning and improving our forecasting model. collecting inputs, challenging assumptions, and preparing clear financial overviews.

• Analyze commercial and operational KPIs, such as revenue development, margin, marketing spend, customer economics, and profitability drivers.

• Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and datasets to improve transparency and decision-making.

• Support business cases for commercial initiatives, marketing investments, and growth opportunities through fact-based analysis and scenario modelling.

• Identify risks and opportunities in performance trends and translate findings into clear recommendations.

Qualifications

About you:

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field

• 3-5 years of experience in Controlling / FP&A in a commercial, e-commerce or highly digital consumer-oriented environment

• A solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure problems, interpret data, and generate practical insights.

• Advanced technical skills with an AI & Data-driven mindset and expertise in Excel (PowerPivot, PowerQuery) to structure complex problems and drive strategic insights

• Interest in commercial performance, e-commerce, customer economics, marketing ROI, and profitability steering.

• Languages: Fluent in both English, German language is a strong plus.
