The Procurement buying team is part of the Factor Upstream Supply Chain team - together with the Procurement Specialists and the Production team you make sure products are available at the right time, quantity and quality to ensure a smooth meal production. You thrive on solving challenges and love stepping up to take the initiative. With your strong communication skills, you quickly identify bottlenecks and take decisive actions to elevate processes. What you’ll do :

  • Be responsible for purchase order placement for a variety of different products required for our meal production, at the correct price and quantity
  • Analyze purchasing data to ensure accuracy of information, purchasing procedures and identify any discrepancies
  • Lead waste management - striving towards zero waste, this involves avoiding over-ordering, minimizing product waste and closely monitoring of inventory
  • Be the POCfor inventory-related questions across production, procurement, intra-logistics, and FSQA - ensuring timely communication and adequate stock for smooth production
  • Collaborate with HelloFresh distribution centers, co-manufacturers, and ingredient suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and meet demand requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts by recommending changes, testing new processes, and implementing updates
  • Resolve any unforeseen supplier issues quickly and professionally, keeping operations on track
  • Proactively escalate issues to the right stakeholders to minimize customer impact
  • Evaluating supplier performance and being responsible for On Time, In Full and In Quality product delivery

What you’ll bring :

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Flexibility for occasional weekend and evening work
  • Stress resilience and a hands-on approach
  • A proactive, data-driven, and result-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in German and proficiency in English
