Hauptaufgaben

Issues and receives necessary equipment to include, tentage, cots, heaters, light sets, table, chairs, and associated supplies from ESC warehouse. Conduct inventories of equipment on hand and ensure the serviceability of equipment prior to issue and receipt. Must have experience and / or knowledge of Army logistics procedures for property accountability including using forms DA 2062, DA 3161 and DA 1687. Ensures units drawing equipment from ESC have the correct paperwork on file and an active account in order to draw equipment for use. Performs turn-ins of unserviceable and excess equipment to various Supply Support Activities (SSAs) or Defense Logistics Agencies (DLAs) both at Grafenwoehr and throughout Europe. Performs preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on equipment to ensure serviceability prior to issue to customers. Must be able to prepare turn in documents IAW Army regulations for disposal of equipment. Must have some knowledge of Army Logistics regulations on property accountability and AR 735-5. Incumbent must have the ability to work outside in various weather conditions with little or no supervision. Must be able to lift in excess of 15kg and participate in the loading, unloading, of equipment from trucks and securing them properly in the warehouse. Prepares documentation for the ordering of replacement equipment for the warehouse. Assists the ESC manager with maintaining all equipment and ensuring services on all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) are up to date. Turns in and picks up equipment as directed by the Property Book Officer or ESC manager at various locations thorough out 7th Army Training Command (7ATC) footprint in Europe. Provide MHE support to both the 7th ATC and Camp Management Cell (CMC) throughout the GTA Keeps work site in clean and orderly condition.

Performs other duties as assigned.

C-4 :

E&T Level I : 1 year of creditable experience that included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.

E&T Level I : 1 Jahr allgemeine Buerotaetigkeit, wie z. B. Computeranwendung, Buchfuehrung, Inventuren, Telefon- oder Organisationsarbeit oder Kassierertaetigkeit.

Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation, must have 2 years of creditable experience that included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.

Innerbetriebliche Arbeitnehmer, die den E&T Level I nicht haben und zur Zeit nicht in einer gleichen oder aehnlichen Stelle arbeiten, benoetigen 2 Jahre allgemeine Buerotaetigkeit, wie z. B. Computeranwendung, Buchfuehrung, Inventuren, Telefon- oder Organisationsarbeit oder Kassierertaetigkeit.

E&T Level II and above : No additional experience required.

E&T Level II und hoeher : Keine zusaetzliche Erfahrung erforderlich.

Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.

Innerbetriebliche Arbeitnehmer, die bereits 1 Jahr im gleichen oder aehnlichen Taetigkeitsbereich beschaeftigt sind, qualifizieren fuer den naechst hoeheren Bezahlungsgrad.

• Bewerber müssen den Führerschein Klasse B besitzen. / Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B.
• Führerschein Klasse C wünschenswert. / German driver's license class C desired.
• Bewerber müssen in der Lage sein einen Gabelstaplerschein zu erwerben und zu behalten. / Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift operator license.
