Stellenbeschreibung

For our latest logistics centre in Estorf (Greater Hanover area) we are looking for a strong and team oriented  Shift Supervisor (m / f / d) to start on 1 August 2024 .

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Monitoring of KPIs during operation
  • Communication with employees and assurance of high working standards
  • Organisation of smooth cooperation between the individual departments
  • Responsibility for communication between departments
  • Optimisation of processes in collaboration with the shift managers
  • Determination the shift objectives and their assurance
  • Preparation of attendance plans for subordinate employees
  • Professional and disciplinary supervisor for the departments in the operational area
  • Final decision-maker for holiday requests from subordinate employees
  • Monitoring and planning of training courses and their effectiveness
  • Audit and improvement of processes
  • Assurance of compliance with applicable internal company safety and HSE regulations
  • Responsibility as an escalation point for management and shift
  • Documentation of deviations and improvements in the context of analyses

REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed vocational training, ideally in the field of logistics
  • Management experience in a similar position within contract logistics
  • Professional experience preferably in a process-based logistics area with a high turnover rate
  • At least two years of experience in a team leadership role
  • Experience in working with WMS systems
  • Very good knowledge of German, knowledge of English an advantage
  • User knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Good communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and assertiveness, as well as very good leadership skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Innovative thinking
  • Ability to react quickly to new circumstances
