Hauptaufgaben
Primary purpose of this position is to independently manage an accurate Employee Occupational Health (OH) Data Management Tracking System. Serve as the coordinating person between assigned contractor and Local National (LN) work force. Serve as administrative data technician to the Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) and is responsible for all non-medical requirements needed to support of the Local National Medical Surveillance Program and contract for Public Health Command Europe (PHCE).
- Manages an accurate Employee Occupational Health (OH) Data Management Tracking System and operates computer terminal to manipulate data in the designated database. Responsible for accurately managing the employee database of between 3,000 and 4,000 Local National employees in AOR. Serves as focal point for referrals and a variety of other requests with 40 points of contact for Local National (LN) employees. Instructs point of contact on how to schedule their employees with the contractor. Coordinates with assigned contractor the monthly Local National (LN) medical examination schedules. Prepares reports to the OHN on the progress, status, and quality of occupational health medical surveillance within the AOR as needed. Uses and is proficient in windows based programs; specifically, Access, Excel, and Word.
- Manages an automated data management tracking system for storing medical information of all Local Nationals enrolled in the Health Surveillance Program in the employee's AOR, which can vary from 3,000 to over 4,000 records. This includes current data, historical data, monitoring fiscal expenditures, and compiling statistical summaries. Monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with delivery services. Reviews all scheduling problems and implements corrective action. Collect and maintain accurate detailed hard copy records for all Local Nationals (LN) employees in AOR. Communicates with all garrison and tenant organizations of the AOR to provide timely and appropriate information on medical surveillance exams, timelines, and results. Provides information to the contractor concerning contractual requirements and medical orders. Timely correspondence with approximately 40 points of contact. Responsible for the accuracy of invoices to ensure accurate billing and reports discrepancies to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
- Periodically commutes to alternate worksite.
- Processes documents for formal communication with the contracted clinics, including requests for information, reports, and medical recommendations. Prepares monthly summaries of work performed by the contractor clinics for the PHCE Occupational Health Nurse (OHN).
- Tracks missing appointments as part of contract oversight. Maintains suspense file for follow-up examination and re-appointments. Assists OHN and OHT with preparation for staff assistant visits, command briefings, and other responsibilities related to OH services for the USAG.
- Often performs as the generator of PHCE and APHC metric data. Prepares data and reports for analysis by the PHCE OHN. Meets all metric data deadlines.
- Provides word processing support for PHCE OHN. Processes reports, memoranda and correspondence within the scope of daily mission requirements. Assists in the arrangement, setup, composition and preparation of written material including administrative reports, military letters, memoranda and other military correspondence. Manages document flow. Reviews and checks for correctness, completeness, appearance, format and compliance with correspondence guidelines. Manages the care and maintenance of work processing equipment to include the ordering of supplies.
Performs other duties as assigned.

C-05 :
E&T Level I : 2 years of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 1 year of experience as defined in B below.
Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of creditable experience as described in A below.
E&T Level II : 1 year of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 1 year of experience as defined in B below.
E&T Level III and above : No additional experience required.
Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.
Experience A : Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.
Experience B : Experience in the same or similar line of work as the job for which considered. The experience must demonstrate that the applicant possesses the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required in the position. The predominant experience must have been gained at a comparable level of difficulty to the position to be filled.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL :
English Language Proficiency level B2 AND German Language Proficiency level C1 required.
