Shipbuilding Designer (m / f / d)

YOUR POSITION IN OUR CREW

• You are responsible for the detailed design of shipbuilding hull and deckhouse sections as well as other shipbuilding structures using the 3D CAD system Siemens NX
• In addition you integrate shipbuilding systems equipment aggregates pipe and cable ducts as well as custom designs and other components of the equipment and interior fittings in hull and deckhouse sections
• The creation of production drawings overview plans and detailed catalogues as well as the creation and maintenance of parts and equipment lists are also your responsibility
• You make calculations about the weight and position of the center of gravity of sections
• You will also carry out simple strength calculations and dimensioning
• You organize your active information gathering and dissemination as well as independent coordination of interfaces in the area of responsibility in line with the process of design and production of the sections
• In addition you will clarify relevant points for the product development process with the production trades other design departments purchasing planning quality assurance and suppliers
• During the production of the section you are the technical contact
