Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Offshore Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate offshore construction support activities for a major offshore project. This critical, shore-based role plays a central part in ensuring that site construction activities are managed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.

The successful candidate will support the Offshore Construction Manager and assume their responsibilities during periods of absence. This position requires strong leadership in construction management, safety oversight, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, and a solid understanding of marine operations and offshore wind construction processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison between onshore and offshore teams, ensuring smooth coordination of construction and commissioning activities.
• Manage and support the offshore construction team in delivering works on time, safely, and in line with project KPIs.
• Lead the shore-based support team and provide consistent oversight of H&S and environmental compliance.
• Oversee the preparation and readiness of offshore operations, including marine coordination and installation.
• Organize and participate in safety briefings and emergency response planning.
• Monitor construction progress, track disrupted workflows, and maintain up-to-date reporting for all site activities.
• Coordinate contractors, sub-contractors, and interface with commissioning teams to ensure conflict-free schedules and efficient task execution.
• Ensure contractor compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards and participate in close-out activities and handovers to operations teams.
• Review and verify timesheets, invoices, work orders, and contractor reports.
