Job Description

HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Procurement Manager in support of a large Operations and Maintenance Contract within Mission Technologies. Position(s) will be based at global Army training site in Hohenfels, Germany. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Devises sound cost effective strategies for purchasing materials.
• Maintains relationships with suppliers and continually vets and scouts for additonal vendodrs.
• Evaluates spending operations, seeking ways to improve product quality and enhance timeliness of deliveries.
• Regularly communicates with team to ensure the efficient flow of goods and services affecting performance.
• Conducts cost analyses, setting benchmarks for improvements and develops risk management procedures to mitigate losses in case of product shortages.
• Supervises the purchasing team and works closely with the the legal department to ensure favorable contract terms.
• Ensures stringent adherence to procurement guidelines, acquisition best practices, and contract management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Access and utilize the WISE system to initiate and process purchase requests.
• Their expertise will guarantee compliance, optimal negotiation outcomes, and efficient project management throughout the supply chain and logistics operations.
