Intro Our customer in the automotive industry has initiated a carve-out project to transition an existing unit into an independent company. As part of this project, SAP systems will be partially rebuilt, adapted, and implemented to meet the requirements of the new organization. The goal is to establish efficient, standardized, and future-proof processes tailored to the needs of the new organization. To successfully execute this project, we are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BW Functional Consultant . This is a full-time role with occasional on-site presence in Hanover. The expected project duration is 6–12 months, with the possibility of extension. Tasks Anforderungsanalyse und Fachkonzeption : Analyse der bestehenden Systemlandschaft und Definition der Anforderungen für die Anpassung oder Neuaufsetzung von SAP BW-Lösungen. Beratung bei der Einführung von SAP BW : Unterstützung bei der Implementierung neuer SAP BW-Systeme, angepasst auf die spezifischen Bedürfnisse des Carve-Out-Projekts. Optimierung bestehender BW-Prozesse : Analyse und Verbesserung bestehender Prozesse, um Effizienz und Performance zu steigern. Sicherstellung der Datenmigration und -konsistenz in Zusammenarbeit mit relevanten Stakeholdern. Implementierung und Optimierung von SAP BW / 4HANA oder traditionellen SAP BW-Prozessen sowie der Integration mit anderen SAP-Modulen (z. B. SAP FI / CO, SAP SD, SAP MM). Entwicklung von cross-funktionalen Lösungen unter Berücksichtigung der Anforderungen verschiedener Geschäftsbereiche. Förderung eines agilen Mindsets im Projektumfeld, z. B. durch die Anwendung von Methoden wie SCRUM oder SAFe. Requirements Minimum of 10 years of experience as an SAP BW Consultant. At least 10 years of experience in business process management, SAP ERP, S / 4HANA, and group-wide ERP transformation programs. Deep knowledge of SAP BW / 4HANA and traditional SAP BW processes. Understanding of other SAP modules (e.g., SAP FI / CO, SAP SD, SAP MM) to support cross-functional data reporting requirements. Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions or hybrid architectures, as well as SAP BI tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage large data sets and complex business requirements. Proficiency in SAP Solution Manager. Proven international or global experience with a successful track record in leading global projects and cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written and spoken). Agile mindset and experience with agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe). Strong influencing skills and the ability to work effectively in complex global networks.
