As the Content Marketing Manager for our team, you will play a key role in crafting and executing our content marketing strategy. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, compelling content for a variety of Jira and Confluence apps that that educates, informs, and engages multiple target audiences. But we aren’t an investment bank : your creativity will be needed to create content that’s smart and snappy with a touch of fun. Your work will help position Seibert Products as a thought leader in the Atlassian space, drive customer acquisition, and support customer retention efforts.

You will work closely with product marketers, video content creators, and designers, to create content that aligns with our business goals and resonates with prospects and customers.

The Seibert product business unit is active on the Atlassian Marketplace with Confluence and Jira apps, and has achieved Gold Marketplace Partner as well as Platinum Marketplace Partner for its joint ventures with draw.io and appanvil. Our team manages the marketing and sales for a collection of Confluence and Jira apps such as Didit Checklist, Spacecraft, Awesome Custom Fields, Report Builder, Templating.app, and more. As the apps grow, new joint ventures are created, and new ideas come to market, we have ambitious objectives in terms of content strategy.

Most of our team is based in Germany, and we are looking for someone with at least half day overlap with the Central Europe time zones.

What tasks can I expect?

• Content Strategy Development

You take care of developing and implementing a content marketing strategy that aligns with our overall marketing objectives and business goals, including increasing brand awareness, driving lead generation, and improving customer engagement.

You take care of writing, editing, and optimizing various types of content, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, eBooks, landing pages, social media posts, email campaigns, the Atlassian Detective newsletter, and more. You work closely with product marketing managers to create content for all stages of the buyer’s journey (awareness, consideration, and decision stages). You collaborate with subject matter experts to produce authoritative and technical content tailored to specific target audiences.

You are responsible for optimizing content for SEO to drive organic traffic. This includes conducting keyword research, applying on-page SEO strategies, and collaborating with our SEO expert to ensure the content aligns with search engine best practices.

You are responsible for collaborating with product marketing managers and the Marketing Lead to develop and execute content distribution strategies across various channels, such as the website, email, social media, and industry forums.

You also leverage social media platforms to promote content and engage with prospects and customers.

You use analytics tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, and SEMrush / Ahrefs to measure content performance. Based on the data, you make adjustments to improve effectiveness. You track key content metrics, including traffic, engagement, lead generation, and conversion rates.
