We are on the lookout for a Principal Group Accountant (fulltime or parttime) to join the Group Accounting team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

As a Principal Group Accounting you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial reporting and accounting activities for our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of international accounting principles strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial information compliance with regulations and providing valuable insights to support strategic decisionmaking.

Financial Reporting : Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements for the Delivery Hero Group and all its subsidiaries. Ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Technical Expertise : Stay uptodate with accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and accurate application. Provide guidance on complex accounting transactions and resolve accounting issues as they arise.

Collaboration : Work closely with crossfunctional teams such as finance treasury tax and legal to gather necessary information and ensure accurate financial reporting. Collaborate with our Group auditors during annual audits and reviews.

Team Player : Provide guidance and training to junior members of the Group Accounting team. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Exciting Projects : Participate in special projects i.e. by contributing to our M&A activities through financial due diligence or valuation  as required.

Qualifications :

Proven experience (typically 8 years) in accounting and financial reporting & indepth knowledge of international accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with high attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and adapt to a fastpaced and dynamic environment ideally with Big Four experience in international audit or consulting.

Masters degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; CPA designation is a strong asset.

Advanced proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software and reporting tools.
