We are one of the world's leading valve manufacturers and supplies conventional and nuclear power plants and the chemical industry with control, safety and shut-off valves.

We are looking for an Assistant for our Financial Controller (m / f / d) to join our team !

In this role, your responsibilities will be :

• Preparation of monthly financial statements (US GAAP) in cooperation with the Emerson Shared Service Centers.
• Preparation of the annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAP (HGB).
• Lead the annual statutory audit as well as other financial audits (e.g. Internal Audits, One Emerson Governance Program).
• Preparation of reports to external authorities (e.g. Deutsche Bundesbank).
• Support quarterly and annual tax inquiries (e.g. transfer pricing documentation).
• Support a strong internal control environment, ensuring compliance with SOX as well as Emerson Policies and Procedures.
• Manage or assist projects (currently : new reporting tool).
• Processing of ad-hoc tasks in accounting, if required also in FP&A.
