Position Overview : As a Senior Transport Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless coordination between production, warehouse / distribution centers, transport, and construction sites. Your expertise in multimodal transport flows and project logistics will be instrumental.

Responsibilities :

• Interface Management : Act as the bridge between different departments, including production, warehouses, transport teams, and construction sites. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Multimodal Transport Coordination : Plan, execute, and monitor transportation activities across various modes (road, rail, sea, and air). Ensure timely delivery of heavy lift cargo.
• Project Logistics : Develop tracking concepts for project cargo, considering unique requirements and challenges. Coordinate shipments for large-scale projects.
• Risk Mitigation : Identify potential risks in transportation and propose mitigation strategies. Monitor performance metrics and address any deviations promptly.
• Vendor Management : Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners. Negotiate contracts and service agreements.
• Process Optimization : Continuously improve transport processes, reduce lead times, and enhance efficiency.
• Compliance : Ensure compliance with legal regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
