Northvolt is on a mission to revolutionize energy and produce batteries so advanced they will make oil history. As part of this shift, we’re seeking a passionate HR Coordinator to join our innovative HR team at Northvolt Drei, one of Germany’s first large-scale battery gigafactories located in Heide. p>

While the road has been challenging, we remain committed to building Europe’s green energy future, and we’re excited to have you contribute to the development of this multi-billion Euro project, which will unfold over the next 5+ years.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Drive, implement, and improve all HR processes together with corporate functions, including onboarding, offboarding, compensation & benefits and learning & development
  • Play a key role in our People & Culture projects, e.g. annual growth & performance management cycle, health & safety, and employee engagement activities
  • Support our external payroll provider with monthly payroll and expense management processes
  • Design and implement policies that drive positive employee experience
  • Continuously improve HR Reporting and Analytics to support informed business decisions

Minimum requirements :

  • A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree within HR, Business, Psychology, Education or similar
  • Successful track record of scaling HR-operations in a fast-growing environment
  • Experience in the industrial / manufacturing industry or in a start-up would be beneficial
  • Good knowledge of employment law and labour law in Germany
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge and experience of payroll and HR-systems would be a big plus
  • Experience working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment would also be preferred
