Global Head of Government Affairs & Public Policy (f / m / d)

Bad Vilbel | Germany (DE) | Full-time | Permanent | Communication | Management / Executives

Join our dynamic Global Communications team as the Global Head of Government Affairs and Public Policy (f / m / d) , where you will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Global Communications, Branding & Sponsoring and dotted line to the Executive Vice President Western Europe & Germany.

If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for shaping and creating public affairs through direct collaboration with board-level executive, we encourage you to apply.

What you can expect :

  • You will design and implement global public and governmental engagement strategies, anticipating and shaping policies and regulations that impact STADA’s business and operations.
  • You will be responsible to position STADA as a key influencer in European pharmaceutical decision-making, enhancing the company's reputation in health and social policy.
  • You represent STADA in trade associations, such as Medicines for Europe, and prepare for the Presidency in 2025 / 2026.
  • Expect to travel regularly (60%) to engage with stakeholders across different markets, collaborating closely with General Managers and, where established, Government Affairs / Public Policy teams in various countries.

Who we are looking for :

  • At least 5+ years of relevant industry experience in developing and executing external affairs, community relations and / or corporate responsibility strategies within a corporate setting
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and nurturing relationships at corporate, political, and community levels, ensuring effective engagement with diverse audiences.
  • Deep understanding and / or experience in EU political decision-making processes and a proven track record in political interests' representation are highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Experience with NGOs or public organizations is highly desirable.
