Your Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and result-driven Manager joining our Corporate Operational Excellence team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to ZEISS’s operations and management teams on matters related to operations strategy and supporting the implementation of operational excellence projects. They will work closely with various stakeholders to identify business needs and develop and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement operations strategy in alignment with various overall business objectives
Work closely with various stakeholders to identify business needs and develop and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
Develop and maintain best practices in operations strategy, leveraging industry knowledge and trends
Conduct detailed analysis of operations to identify areas of improvement and provide actionable recommendations to management
Lead and support cross-functional teams in the implementation of process improvements and operational changes
Collaborate with other teams to ensure that operations strategy is aligned with other business strategies
Provide training and support to employees on operations strategy, including best practices and tools
Manage and monitor operations strategy initiatives to ensure that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Your Profile
Master's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field
2-7 years of experience in operations strategy, ideally in a consultancy or advisory role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop solutions
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Experience in conducting operations analysis and developing actionable recommendations
Strong knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools
Proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken.
