The Munich Marriott City West will set new benchmarks and standards in meetings & events. Inspired by the Bavarian lifestyle and with 398 guest rooms and suites and almost 5000 sqm of public space, including a state of the art conference center, customized and first class event needs will create amazing experiences for our guests. The upscale concept includes an Italian restaurant with open show kitchen, coffee shop with retail, fine-dining wine room, lobby bar and The Speakeasy bar, offering an outstanding culinary experience combined with warm hospitality and stylish ambience. Even the spectacular rooftop terrace and executive lounge with panoramic views over the city, all the way to the Bavarian Alps, delight our guests. The hotel is located in the lively Westend, centrally close to Munich's Old Town and within walking distance of the famous Oktoberfest grounds.

Who we are looking for…

Your heart beats for F&B and numbers? Then the job as an F&B controller is just right for you. Thanks to your diligence and your great understanding of food and beverages, you always keep track of orders, costs and inventory levels and are a competent contact person for the operational departments when it comes to cost optimization.

What are your responsibilities are...

  • You are primarily responsible for calculating menu and drink prices, taking into account the prices of new orders, inventory and other items
  • You ensure that invoices are processed properly
  • You carry out inventory checks and support regular inventory
  • You provide numbers, values ​​and calculations to enable a realistic F&B forecast
  • You work closely with hotel management and purchasing managers to forecast trends, control inventories and optimize purchases
  • You communicate professionally with suppliers, both by phone and in writing
  • You are a competent contact person for the F&B department
  • You create reports and statistics
  • You report discrepancies that you notice and document them
  • You are completely trustworthy and all confidential data is safe with you
