The SupplierRelationship Manager (SRM) is responsible for facilities,MRO, and fleet in the EMEA Region. This role will supportsignificant procurement projects and work closely with all businessunits and functions. The SRM will manage the central fleet forvarious countries in Europe (Germany, UK, France, Belgium, Italy,Spain, Poland, Netherlands) and manage all fleet requests andinventories. This role will support, monitor, and assist the localtactical purchasing teams and site managers. It will ensure thatpolicies and procedures relating to compliance, engagement, earlyinvolvement, supplier selection, assessment, and development areacknowledged and implemented.
This position reports to theSr. Commodity Manager for Indirect Sourcing and is part of theGlobal Integrated Supply Team located in Bad Kreuznach, Germany andwill be an on-site role.
In this role, youwill have the opportunity to :
Work on KeyPerformance indicators and cost-saving goals by focusing on savingsproject funnel ideation and execution, stay updated on emergingtechnologies / materials / best practices in indirect and supply chainmanagement, monitor market trends & industry developments toidentify opportunities for innovation / cost savings / risk mitigation.
Oversee the implementationof the indirect strategy, manage the procurement process, andensure compliance.
Handlelegal interactions, such as supplier non-disclosure agreements andlegal interactions between Pall and suppliers.
Manage supplierrelationships by identifying and evaluating potential suppliers,conduct supplier assessments, attend supplier meetings / visits,maintain strong relationships with key suppliers via SBR’s.
Collaborate with the keystakeholders and cross-functional teams (including engineering,manufacturing, materials, quality, finance), LTA’s / MSA’s negotiateand manage contract administration.
The essential requirements of the job include :
Bachelor’sDegree, preferably in procurement, supply chain, or engineering.
5+ years’ experience insourcing, purchasing, category management or supplier relationshipmanagement.
3+ years’experience in indirect sourcing with focus on facilities of fleetmanagement.
Proven trackrecord of negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and improvingsupplier performance.
Fluent English and German speaker with excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical / EnvironmentRequirements :
Ability to travel 25% regionally and internationally.
Must have a valid driver’slicense with an acceptable driving record.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :
Building,maintaining, and fostering relationships with suppliers.
Ability to adapt, thinkcritically, and problem-solve under pressure.
Continuous improvement inmanufacturing.
