Itensures orders from customers are received, processed and deliveredin an efficient and effective manner. A superior customerexperience enhances BASF image and customer retention. The personwill be required to interact and solve problems with various BU / FU within BASF to successfully execute the orders for customers. Inaddition, support may be provided to other interfacing processessuch as account receivables and logistics.Main Areas ofResponsibilities and Key ActivitiesPerform Sales and Delivery OrderManagement tasks including sales order creation, processing changesand returns, following-up on blocked orders, Letter of Credithandling, shipping and delivery tracking including following-up onshipping documents and dispatch to customers if required,coordinate with Logistics and / or 3rd party Logistics serviceproviders on delivery arrangements to customers and communicationwith customers on all order management related matters.Contributeto development of customer relationships through proactive customercommunication related to order management e.g. productavailability, order status and delivery trackingSupport CreditManagement on billing and Accounts Receivable management such asmonthly closing and billing correction, handling invoicediscrepancies, monitoring customer payment schedule andfollowing-up on overdue payment with customers or Sales persons,processing credit / debit notes and rebates, etc.Raise request fornew article creation and / or article extension in SAP, raiserequest for maintenance of ship-to-party and bank code in SAPcustomer master data.Handle customer complaints via Non-conformanceManagement (NCM) system Actively communicate status, investigationresults, corrective actions to customer and ensure on time closurefor non-product quality related complaints. Capture customerexpectations / requirement and feedback to BU / FunctionsSupportimplementation of business rules related to customer ordermanagement process.Provide order status report and monitorcustomers’ order placement against sales forecast and communicatewith Sales persons if orders are not within forecasts.Capturemarket intelligence from daily interaction with customers and sharewith the business as appropriateContribute to further developmentof customer care organization in Asia Pacific, fostering a cultureof customer focus in the teamJob RequirementsEducation : Anybachelor’s degree. Masters / MBA in supply chain will be preferred.APICS certificate will be added advantageWorking Experience : 5-7years customer service, business, supply chainexperienceSkills : Well versed with SAP OTC processesGoodunderstanding of the products / services of relevant businesssegmentsGood knowledge of the business processesService Excellencecompetencies
