Your Role

As a Tech Lead at AskUI, you will drive the technical vision, strategy, and execution of our AI-driven automation platform. You will guide and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-performance, and maintainable solutions. Your key responsibilities include :

  • Defining and driving the technical roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
  • Leading and mentoring engineers to foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
  • Making architectural decisions and guiding best practices to ensure scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Working hands-on with the team to develop and optimize core features of our automation platform.
  • Collaborating closely with product managers, AI researchers, and designers to create seamless solutions.
  • Driving continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Ensuring code quality, testing, and deployment best practices are followed.
  • Advocating for innovation and staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Your Profile

Requirements :

  • 3 - 4 years proven experience as a Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or similar leadership role.
  • Strong proficiency in software development, with expertise in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Typescript, JavaScript, Go).
  • Proficiency with at least one frontend framework (e.g., Next.js, Angular, React)
  • Deep knowledge of software architecture and design, with a focus on distributed systems, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), hexagonal architecture, event-driven architecture, and understanding of quality trees and scenarios.
  • Experience with diverse databases and storage solutions, including relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and cloud storage options (e.g., S3, Snowflake).
  • Experience working with modern Agentic Frameworks like LangChain, SmolAgents, or Crew.ai
  • Experience working with modern LLM / LAM Model Providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Bytedance, or DeepSeek, with a strong understanding of integrating AI models into product solutions.
  • Experience in leading agile teams and delivering high-impact products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven decision-making approach.
  • Thorough experience with most of the phases of the DevOps LifeCycle (and at least a clear picture of and interest in learning about the rest of the phases)
  • taking incoming requirements and clarifying them,

  • transforming them into software design and architecture,
  • implementing and releasing it,
  • integrating and deploying it,
  • operating and monitoring the software,
  • debugging and fixing bugs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passion for AI-driven automation and its transformative potential.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Bonus :

  • Hands-on experience with agentic AI, large language models (LLMs), or reinforcement learning.
  • Expertise in DevOps, MLOps, or AI Ops.
  • Experience with security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
  • Background in performance optimization, high-scale systems, and observability.
  • Previous experience in a startup or high-growth tech company.
