Battery Materials and Battery Recycling are key focus areas for BASF. At BASF's Schwarzheide site, near Dresden, first plants in these exciting new fields are already constructed. At our Schwarzheide site we also produce polyurethane base products, foams, coatings, engineering plastics, finishing chemicals and fungicides. We are looking for agile and motivated team members in the Engineering and Construction fields to help design and build the plants of the future for BASF! RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Project Engineering Europe unit offers demand-optimized engineering services for our internal customers at the BASF Group sites in Germany and other European countries.

• For the Electrical Power Supply unit you will plan investment projects and plant modifications in the area of low, medium and high voltage and in doing so, you will have the opportunity to support our carbon management initiatives.
• In coordination with the project management you will take over subtasks of conceptual and detailed planning.
• You will create and revise single line diagrams, dimension equipment and lay it out. You will also perform network calculations.
• For the procurement of equipment you will prepare specifications. In addition, you participate in contract award negotiations and take part in acceptance tests.
• Last but not least, you will manage suppliers during project execution and review supplier documents.
