Thenwe have the opportunity for you! We’re seeking an efficient ICQAOperations Manager to take ownership of our fulfillment centerInventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA). Our fulfillmentcenters sit at the heart of Amazon’s rapidly growing operationsnetwork : they are where we manage our fast-moving inventory. Ineach fulfillment center, our teams stow deliveries, pick products,package them up and ship them out; each of these groups have playedtheir part in taking us where we are today. These fulfillmentcenters are fast-paced and high reward environments, whereadherence to policies and procedures is key. We need the right typeof leader to ensure that we deliver as reliably as ever to ourcustomers, while making sure our teams deliver on customerobsession. Key job responsibilities Your role and responsibilitiesin the ICQA Team :
- Support safety programs and compliance toensure a safe work environment for all Associates
- Coordinateinventory control maintenance and random counts in accordance withnetwork count strategies, ensuring compliance and consistency withSOX,
- Measure quality, inventory integrity, and accuracy whileproviding proactive feedback to the operations management team
- Review and analyse customer complaints and any defect data,followed by development of corresponding action plans to reducefuture incidents
- Plan for and identify root causes of inventorydeviation, via cause and effect analysis
- Participate and Leadnetwork-wide fulfilment & operations-focused qualityinitiatives.
- Strategic planning and forecasting, alongsideassigning and directing work
- Lead and supervise a team of areamanagers and hourly associates, in Inventory Control / QualityAssurance operations within the Fulfillment Center
- Manage AreaManager(s) in ICQA functions and drive team performance
- Driveprocess improvements and team members’ ability to keep pace withour rapid growth, while motivating others and reducing employeeturnover Your role and responsibilities in your FC and withinoperations :
- Gain expertise in key fulfillment center processpaths, as well as exception handling; we’ll need you to ensure thatprocess discipline is adhered to across all shifts and departments
- Ensure KPIs are reviewed on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis andperform control and quality analysis on any behaviours / processesthat could impact on inventory integrity
- Collaborate with alldepartment managers to identify and understand key projects,initiatives and system enhancements
- Work with Loss Preventionteams to establish, influence and adhere to Loss Preventionpolicies and procedures
- Liaise with Operations Managers, SeniorOperations Managers, and General Managers to aid the communicationof all policies related to process discipline
- Support inInterviewing and hiring new Managers GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN A degreeRelevant experience in people and stakeholder management Advancedproficiency in verbal and written English and in the local language(German) Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence toinfluence business decisions Relevant experience in key areas ofproduction and supply chains BEVORZUGTE QUALIFIKATIONEN Preferredqualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon.If you have all the basic qualifications above, we’d love to hearfrom you. - Demonstrated ability to takeinitiative and produce results, while multi-tasking andprioritizing in a complex environment.
- Background in logisticsand previous Inventory Control and Quality Assurance Managementexperience, or similar environment
