Company Description

Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). We have pledged to bring sustainable urban air mobility to life by getting electric air taxis off the ground in a way that complements existing transportation options in megacities across the globe. In 2011 we carried out the first-ever crewed flight of a fully electric multicopter and have since conducted more than 2,000 public and private test flights across the world ().

Job Description

Your mission during this flight :

As a NX Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and architecture of Siemens NX solutions within the context of computer-aided design (CAD) systems. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction, ensuring optimal system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality CAD solutions.

Tasks :

Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and design customized solutions using Siemens NX
Troubleshoot occurring CAD issues, address and complete incoming Siemens NX support tickets created by the engineers
Develop architecture solutions that leverage Siemens NX capabilities, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability
Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the entire project lifecycle, from concept to delivery
Customize and configure Siemens NX solutions to meet specific project needs and client requirements
Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Engage with clients to understand their business challenges, gather requirements, and present technical solutions effectively
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for the implemented solutions, ensuring clarity for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams on Siemens NX solutions

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

At least 10 years of relevant work experience

In-depth knowledge and experience with Siemens NX software, including its various modules and functionalities

Strong understanding of computer-aided design (CAD) systems and experience with integrating CAD solutions into larger enterprise systems

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated experience leading the design and architecture of large-scale software systems, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of end-users
