Our business

Our client, a global EPCM contractor, are recruiting for a Project Manager to join their team in Schkopau, Germany on an initial 12 month contract basis, with potential to move to permanent thereafter. In the role, you will be managing projects for international clients, including leading project teams.

Key Responsibilities and background :

Regular reporting on project status both internally and externally to the customer Skills / Qualifications :

Degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on plant and process engineering, chemical engineering or mechanical engineering

Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior project management role, with proven track record of managing large scale projects valued between €25-50m

Strong industry experience in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refinery or power industries.

Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera / MS Projects, as well as advanced MS Office

Business fluency, written and spoken German and English skills (min B2 German).

Must hold eligibility to work in Germany
