Bauer Media GroupHamburg, Berlin, GermanyAs our new Senior Data Product Manager (f / m / d), you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of data products that are critical to our company's decision-making and business success. You will play a central role in bridging business strategy with data and technology, translating complex needs into actionable product solutions. Your work will shape how data is used across the organization and drive measurable value.
This Position will be based in Hamburg or Berlin, with the opportunity of hybrid work.
- Define and own the strategic roadmap for data products that enable scalable, data-driven decision-making
- Act as the voice of the business within data teams and the voice of data within business units - aligning stakeholders and translating between domains
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership across Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Business teams to define goals, requirements, and delivery plans
- Prioritize high-impact initiatives, balancing long-term vision with short-term business value
- Ensure delivery of robust, user-friendly, and future-ready data products
- Drive product adoption, monitor performance KPIs, and lead continuous improvement efforts
- Mentor data analysts, data engineers and product peers, fostering a data culture and promoting best practices in data product management
- Be an evangelist for the value of data across our organization
- 5+ years of experience in data product management, analytics, or related roles, preferably in a fast-paced, digital environment
- Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional data initiatives with strategic impact
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of both business processes and data architecture
- A hands-on, proactive mindset with a passion for unlocking business value through data
