Subcontractor Manager (m / f / d)

Your Tasks

• Implementation and execution of subsystem and equipment procurement for satellites including bus and payload subsystems and equipment as well as ground support equipment, especially for predevelopments, Phase A & B1 study projects
• Management of required subcontract documents (contract, SOW, specification) and negotiation of the subcontract commercial and contractual agreements
• Management of the supplier and subcontract for a delivery on cost, on quality and on time from contract implementation until delivery of hardware
• Perform regular program and management reviews during subcontract lifetime
• Implement and manage a competitive tendering process in an international environment
• Acquire an overview over subsystem and equipment prices
• Understand the price driver for certain subsystems and equipment in order to achieve financial targets
• Perform subcontractor rating including feedback and definition of correcting actions with the subcontractor
• Manage commercial and institutional procurements within the customer driven requirements
• Regularly report on status and progress of procurements
• Be the focal point of contact for a procurement domain and the subsystem, equipment and service range connected to this domain
• Support early program cost estimation
• Evaluate suppliers for your domain worldwide
• Support further definition and optimization of internal process
