As the leading platform for non-professional football in Europe we bring professional experiences from news and data to gamification directly to a community of over 190 million footballers and fans.

We are Prematch founded in 2021 in Cologne a dynamic startup with a smart and ambitious team. Our marketing and business teams are based in Cologne Berlin and London while our tech and product teams work remotely across Europe.

Were backed by strong partners such as adidas Krombacher NIVEA MEN and Techniker Krankenkasse with a couple of exciting collaborations still in the pipeline. Successful investors like Ralf Reichert (CEO of ESL) and Verena Pausder are supporting us on our journey.

    Were seeking a talented Product Designer to lead our design efforts in creating intuitive and delightful user this role youll have the opportunity to shape the future of our product from conducting product discovery to conceptualising new and refining existing ones.

    Your expertise in user research interaction design and visual design will be key in crafting solutions that meet our users needs and drive engagement. Working closely with our experienceed design development and product teams youll turn insights into beautiful functional designs that enhance our user experience and contribute to our products success.

    Your mission

  • UX / UI Design : Design user-centric interfaces and experiences for mobile applications
  • User Research : Conduct product discovery user interviews and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions
  • Prototyping : Create wireframes prototypes and high-fidelity designs for new features and improvements
  • Design Consistency : Ensure design consistency and coherence across the entire product
  • Cross-Team Support : Take on further design tasks across departments (e.g. brand partnerships)

    • What do you need

  • Experience : 2 years of proven experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.
  • You know football : Amateur football is not new to you - youve played yourself and / or are still active in a club. You have a good feel for the people processes and challenges on and off the pitch
  • Languages : Youre fluent in German & English
  • User Research : Experience in conducting user research and usability testing
  • Visual Design : Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Design Principles : Solid understanding of user-centered design principles interaction design and responsive design

    • Advantage but not a must

  • Motion Design Skills are a plus
