For its R&D department, we are looking for a Embedded Firmware Designer. Although the company is 35+ years of age, the design team is working in a startup mode; all ideas to get to the objective quickly are welcome, working quickly with our peers designers to bring solution to our customers. Tasks Your tasks won't surprise you, these are typical embedded designer activties; here are some guidance on the technical specifics that matters for the success of your integration : Implementing FW-components and developing the communication interfaces and protocols. Competences and / or a prior succesful implementation with the communication protocol LTE CatM1 and NB1, Lora and Lorawan is a plus. Low power design coding principe, efficient communciation protocols : all most of our products are with non-rechargeable battery pack. Complete overview of the product architecture and the system architecture. working together with the hardware team, software (cloud and tablet) teams. Reviewing and implementing protocols which are defined by external partners. Requirements We are looking for a designer prepared to have low level of processes to allow maximum velocity in the implementation of the requests coming from our customers. for that purpose, you should be independant in : Electronic schematic understanding; battery-powered and embedded applications; Prior experience in developing electronic products (ideally of battery-operated mass-produced products) within project environments; Design of communication protocol in C with data structure and presentation for communication protocol. coding on STM32, Atmel 16bits, ARM processors. coding of drivers, coding of application; ability to create small PC software tools to your debug products (C++, C#, python...); ability to create scripts for your testing purposes.
