Supplier Quality Engineer

StellenbeschreibungCompleted technical training with further training as a technician or a completed degree in a STEM field Several years of technical professional experience or initial experience in the rail vehicle sector Independent and self-reliant working style as well as confident handling of common quality, failure analysis, and complaint management tools (e.g., 8D and RCA methods) Desirable : Experience with internal and external audits Very good written and spoken German and English skills Strong communication skills Communication and teamwork skills Willingness to travel occasionally Confident with MS Office; SAP knowledge is desirable
Tasks :
- Supporting suppliers in the assessment and rework of purchased parts
- Recording and analyzing deviations in purchased parts
- 8D tracking and validation
- Root cause analysis (internal and external)
- Escalation management in collaboration with Production and Purchasing
- Ensuring supplier compliance with specifications and regulations
- Interface function between Purchasing, SCM,
- Project Management, Design, and suppliers
Requirements :
