DataDriven Financial Reporting :

Develop and refine financial reports dashboards and visualizations to monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) in realtime.

Utilize modern BI tools such as Power BI Tableau or Looker to provide comprehensive insights into financial metrics.

Automation of Reporting Processes :

Implement and maintain automated reporting processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors.

Develop data pipelines to integrate financial data from various sources (ERP systems CRM databases).

AdHoc Analysis :

Perform adhoc analyses to support rapid decisionmaking and provide clear datadriven recommendations.

Ability to structure analyze and present complex data in an understandable format for stakeholders.

Performance Reporting and Forecasting :

Create dynamic financial models to enhance forecasts cash flow projections and scenario analyses.

Develop performance reports that identify variances between planned and actual results and provide root cause analysis.

Integration of Business Intelligence in Financial Strategies :

Leverage BI analysis to support strategic financial planning and business management.

Identify trends opportunities and risks through datadriven insights to improve competitiveness.

Transparency and Visualization :

Prepare clear and visually compelling reports for management investors and other stakeholders.

Develop dashboards that consolidate financial market and operational data to facilitate faster decisionmaking.

Compliance and Accuracy :

Ensure compliance with statutory reporting standards (IFRS HGB) and internal policies.

Implement validation mechanisms to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Collaborative BI Solutions :

Promote a culture of datadriven decisionmaking within the organization.

Train and support team members in the use of BI tools and the interpretation of financial data.

Support the Management in future fundraising processes

Lead the financial due diligence processes within funding rounds

Your profile

Bachelors or masters degree in finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field.

7 years of experience in a financial leadership role preferably in a fastpaced datadriven environment.

Strong experience in financial reporting forecasting and automation processes.

Proficiency in BI tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau Looker) and financial modeling.

Solid understanding of statutory accounting standards (IFRS HGB) and compliance requirements.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data in an understandable and visual format.

Collaborative mindset with strong leadership and team management abilities.

Highly analytical detailoriented and capable of strategic thinking.Bonus points for

Experience working with ERP systems and building financial data pipelines.

Experience with fundraising processes investor communications and due diligence.

Background in circular economy sustainability or technologydriven industries.

About Us

Circunomics GmbH was founded in 2019 and is in Mainz Germany. The company is leading the industry by offering a comprehensive battery lifecycle management solution. CoFounders Felix Wagner and Jan Born are dedicated to establishing a true circular battery economy to maximize each stage of battery life. Along with their team they seek to inspire the movement of batteries from 1stlife within the automotive industry to 2ndlife within the energy sector and finally through working with recyclers to close the loop by recovering any remaining raw materials.

Circunomics has developed an AIpowered B2B marketplace where cells modules and packs can be traded. Through the Circunomics Analytics product sellers and buyers alike can obtain a detailed view of their assets. From current SH to 2ndlife simulation this product allows for a simpler and more profitable lifecycle management. Circunomics knows that lifecycle planning is complex and the Battery Matchmakers are on a mission to help ease this process for their customers.

The company has been supported thus far by seed investors and business angels. Startup builder Next Mobility Labs recycler TES Orlen VC and Dr. Peter Mertens (former Chief Technology Officer of Audi) are some of the key players. The Series A funding round has been closed in Q4 of 2024.

Though many customers already sit within the US market Circunomics is set to officially expand operations into the US by the beginning of 2025.

USbased company Frost & Sullivan awarded Circunomics the 2023 Market Leadership Award. This award identified Circunomics as the Best in Class within the European Circular Marketplace for the Battery Trade Industry.
