The IT Application Services department is the implementation partner for business applications and their operation. The Logistics team manages all IT systems and processes for our business units at a global level for this area. In particular, we rely on SAP products such as SAP Transportation Management (TM), S / 4HANA, SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and SAP Global Trade Services (GTS). This job advertisement relates to tasks in the areas of TM and EWM :

In your new role, you will help shape the modernisation of our SAP landscape with a focus on S / 4HANA

You will assess requirements from the business in terms of their technical and functional feasibility and their suitability in relation to our IT strategy

You will design and implement new functionalities and solutions, including testing them and communicating with the relevant stakeholders

The management of implementation projects with a local, regional or global scope in your area of responsibility is also part of your role

You use your expertise to help resolve difficult support tickets

You manage external service partners with regard to compliance with project results, ensuring necessary Covestro knowledge and communications

You deal with market solutions and IT trends in the task area and share this knowledge with your environment

In addition, you will promote a culture that emphasises continuous improvement and the necessary flexibility (Covestro's C3 values)

WHAT YOU OFFER

You have a technical or university degree (Master's) in computer science / business informatics or a comparable qualification

You can demonstrate sound experience in the technologies used in SAP TM and SAP EWM

You have very good functional and procedural knowledge in the areas mentioned, including the neighbouring logistics processes in the areas MM, SD, GTS

You have experience in project management and possess leadership skills

You have excellent structured and methodical problem-solving skills

You are characterised by experience in working in flexible and agile teams and have outstanding analytical and strategic skills

You are open-minded and enjoy communicating with internal and external colleagues from different cultures
