The Development Engineer will perform specific tasks such as design and develop new products and services, which includes independent project management.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform and provide guidance on engineering tasks using established procedures including but not limited to, stress analysis, design calculations, material selection, cost estimates and tolerance studies.
- Research, design, assemble and test prototypes and document all results.
- Independently lead and coordinate projects for new product development and product line related sustaining work with providing regular reviews.
- Perform and guide on design activities and coordinate with Designer Drafter for creation of drawings, test procedures and Engineering Change Orders.
- Independently work and coordinate with sales, marketing, operation, production and manufacturing to provide technical data and product information for manufacturing of prototypes to commercialization of product.
