About the Job
This is a permanent role based in our Velten office.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Contact for all customs-related issues
- Control of export and import procedures
- Applying for an export licence with BAFA
- Responsible for the re-certification of the company's customs authorisations (AEO, Authorised Exporter, Registered Exporter, Simplified Procedures)
- Carrying out customs inspections and customs audits
- Monitoring compliance with customs authorisations and customs requirements
- Issue and file import authorisations to forwarding agents
- Optimisation of customs processes
- Training colleagues in the customs area AEO training
