An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly professional experienced Finance Manager for our legal entity in Germany. As part of the Leadership Team this role is pivotal in shaping the financial success of 3 of our sites (Neuss Flensburg and Bremen) and its positive contribution to our overall business. This role will provide strategic financial insights and be active in the delivery development and continuous improvement of the key department responsibilities from supervising operational / transactional activities and compliance to internal and external financial reporting planning and analysis. The successful candidate will be supported by a small team of qualified and partqualified accounts professionals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate preparation and finalization of monthly quarterly and annual closing.
• Implement and maintain a robust control system and perform regular checks to ensure full compliance with internal group policies local regulations and applicable accounting standards
• Maintainandupholdadocumentedsystemofaccountingpoliciesandproceduresinaccordancewithlocallegalandinternalaccountingstandards.
• Manageanddevelopateamoffinancespecialistsfosteringacollaborativeandhighperformanceenvironment.
• Review and approval invoices payments journal and reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow (AR / AP) maintain fixed assets and liaise with auditors tax consultants and corporate secretariesto support the companys financial health.
• HandleVATaccountingprojectcostmanagementandforeigncurrencytransactions.
• Provide input for various growth and strategic initiatives as a key member of the local management team.
• Provide advice and drive initiatives to improve the financial performance e.g. drive working capital operation net cash low and business performance.
• Conductfinancialanalysisvariancereportingandprovidestrategicinsightstosupportdecisionmaking.
• Performregularvarianceanalysisfromthebudgetreportingsignificantdeviationstomanagement.
• Providefinancialanalysesasneededandmonitorprojectmarginsandreportanyvariances.
• Supportexternalauditsandcoordinatethepreparationofthecorporateannualreport.
• Drive the development of financial and nonfinancial performance measures that support the consolidated companys strategic direction.
