You have at least five years of professional experience in the development of IT / OT infrastructures and cybersecurity in the industry or a related, comparable environment. You have good English skills, both written and spoken, as well as good IT skills (MS Office). Ideally, you are familiar with the following concepts and technologies : cybersecurity reference architecture, zones and conduits, defense-in-depth, endpoint protection, access control, firewalls, and SIEM in the context of industrial automation & control systems / IEC 62443. You are a team player and enjoy working with others to achieve ideas and goals. You have an independent, structured, and committed way of working and prioritize tasks in the interest of the company. Within B. Braun Melsungen AG, Hospital Care division, we are looking for an Operational Technology Security Specialist (m / f / d) for the Computer System Validation (CSV) team of the Digital Process Development department at the earliest possible date at the corporate headquarters in Melsungen.
Ensuring cybersecurity during the implementation of high-quality automation systems throughout the project phases through planning, execution, and reporting are essential components of this position. The focus of the activities, in addition to meeting all internal cybersecurity requirements for these systems, is on compliance with legal requirements and relevant standards and guidelines. Activities such as maintaining, optimizing, and further developing cybersecurity measures within the department and in coordination with the Smart Manufacturing Center are fundamental building blocks.
Tasks and Responsibilities :
- You act as a specialist for the protection of the OT infrastructure, for example through the design and operation of protective measures and systems.
- As a member of a global expert team, you identify, implement, and improve solutions for the operation and management of the OT infrastructure, including solutions for antivirus protection, patch management, backup & recovery, secure remote access, and user identification and authentication.
- You support digitization projects in the areas of network infrastructure, device integration, and security.
- With your expert knowledge, you support our production sites according to evolving business requirements in line with global harmonization projects.
- You are responsible for conducting security assessments and planning and tracking necessary improvements.
- Additionally, you support forensic analyses.
- Active participation with specialized know-how and experience in the further development of B. Braun cybersecurity guidelines and the creation of work instructions is also part of your tasks.
