Project A VenturesMüncheberg, DEAbout the Job We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant (m / f / d) to strengthen our team and shape the future of finance through automation, digitalization, and smart financial processes. In this role, you will play a key role in optimizing financial workflows, managing accounts payable, and ensuring accurate account reconciliation. You will be responsible for streamlining financial operations, enhancing efficiency, and driving modern accounting strategies. In this role, you’ll : Managing accounts payable and executing weekly payment runs to ensure timely and accurate disbursements Overseeing cash flow and liquidity management by utilizing financial tools for precise reporting and forecasting Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports while ensuring compliance with HGB standards (IFRS desirable) Assisting in internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and reconciling accounts to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance Managing travel expense reporting, ensuring proper documentation, and acting as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to business travel Preparing and submitting regulatory financial reports, including ZM, Bundesbank filings, and other mandatory financial disclosures Collaborating on finance-related projects to enhance financial processes, drive automation, and improve operational efficiency Your Profile At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally as a Certified Accountant or Assistant Tax Consultant Strong expertise in ERP & financial systems (SAP Business One, SAP R3, or S4Hana, 3–5 years experience) Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with MS Teams for daily operations Proven experience in cash flow and liquidity management, with knowledge of relevant financial tools Tech-savvy approach with experience in finance automation projects and digitalized accounting processes Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, manage projects, and take ownership of responsibilities Detail-oriented, structured, and highly reliable in managing financial operations Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) Partial on-site presence in Aachen required to manage financial documents and collaborate with the team Please note that we are looking for support in Germany. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
