A fast-growing international company in the financial technology sector is seeking a Data Protection Specialist to join its Security & Privacy Governance team. The role is based in Frankfurt am Main and involves working closely with internal teams, clients, and regulators to ensure compliance with global data protection laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the company's Record of Processing Activities.
- Review and revise privacy policies and standards in response to legal or business changes.
- Lead Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and other privacy evaluations.
- Respond to client privacy inquiries and assist with data processing agreements.
- Support incident response for personal data breaches.
- Advise on cross-border data transfers and international privacy laws.
- Develop and deliver privacy training and awareness programs.
- Draft responses for regulatory and client communications.
- Coordinate audits and compliance checks.
