We are looking for a Fleet Operations Manager who is responsible for the safety compliance availability and customer sentiment of the Fleet in their respective region of Germany. To be successful in this role this person will need to execute the business strategy and understand where to Invent and simplify solutions for the best outcome. This person will implement use of best practices and play a key role within the larger fleet organization across Europe.

Key job responsibilities

Ensure vehicles within the region are roadworthy and compliant with local regulations and Amazon Standards by performing audits and collating regional feedback through partnership with Fleet Compliance and Product teams.

The Fleet Operations Manager will execute existing fleet initiatives and new product launches and will support and engage with delivery partners by building mechanisms to help manage their fleet.

Influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders internal and external in order to solve complex operational needs. The role requires the ability to manage escalations and influence stakeholders.

Manage vehicle operational readiness and cosmetic standards across the region through collecting and analyzing data from different fleet management sources to secure customer experience.

This role will be based in one of our delivery stations within Germany and requires ability to travel 3040% of time across the assigned region. Occasional travel across Europe will be required.

About the team

Amazon Logistics or AMZL handles last mile delivery duties in partnership with thirdparty distribution businesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts like Amazon Fresh Prime Now and Amazon Restaurants.

There are two sides to what we do. Our under the roof associates process millions of products for dispatch to our delivery teams. Our team is peoplefocused and supportive particularly as lots of our people work through the night. We focus mostly on operations with 24 / 7 shifts in most of our locations.

Meanwhile our on the road people work with Amazon Flex a network of delivery contractors. Every year we continually raise the bar for customer experience with new innovative delivery services. We look for new ways to overcome industry wide logistics challenges and new ideas to reduce our carbon footprint supported by a portfolio of lightcommercial vehicles (including Electric Vehicles) and technology to help us do just that.

Bachelors degree

Experience influencing interacting and building partnership with crossfunctional teams.

Ability to effectively work with a variety of organizations management levels cultures and personalities.

Ability to handle and prioritize when presented with a high volume of engagements.

Excellent communications skills and a high bar for accuracy and detail.

Ability to work independently in a fastpaced and rapidly changing environment.

Advanced proficiency in German and English.

preferred hiring location the Region of Bavaria or Austria i.e. Munich or Vienna

Advanced or masters degree or MBA.

Relevant Fleet Management or Operations experience or equivalent background in mobility services.
