StellenbeschreibungNew and enhanced variant configuration models, including dependencies and configuration profiles Configure and test SAP VC functionalities, including material masters, bills of material, routings, and pricing for configurable materials Develop and maintain complex dependency rules (procedures, constraints, preconditions, selection conditions) to control material selection and characteristic value assignment Creation of any custom enhancements or interfaces for variant configuration according to the development team's requirements Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for implemented solutions, ensuring data integrity and process flow Provide expertise and support during data migration activities related to configurable materials Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on new configuration processes Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to variant configuration and integrated modules in a timely manner
Project context :
This project aims to optimize and standardize the configuration and order fulfillment processes for highly configurable products within our client's manufacturing operations during the S / 4 HANA transformation. The goal is to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve data accuracy across various SAP modules.
Description :
We are seeking a SAP S / 4HANA Service Senior Consultant with a strong focus on Variant Configuration (VC) and Item-Based Accounting (IBA) to support the optimization and standardization of configuration and order fulfillment processes for highly configurable products during our client’s S / 4HANA transformation.
Most important / mandatory skills :
- 5-10 years’ Experience with advanced variant configuration (AVC or LOVC) or SAP S / 4HANA advanced variant configuration
- Knowledge of SAP C / 4HANA or other CRM systems integration with SAP VC
- Familiarity with pricing procedures in SD for configurable products
- Experience in an agile project environment (Scrum, Kanban)
- Deep knowledge of S / 4 Hana service modul
- Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to configurable products and variant configuration
- Design and document technical specifications
Main task :
Design, implement, and optimize the end-to-end configuration and production processes for configurable materials within the SAP system landscape, ensuring seamless integration and efficient order processing
