Summary

We are looking for a "System Engineer 4D with focus on Front-End Segment (f / m / d)" for the "4D Radars" department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

In the "4D Radars" area, the products TRS-4D and TRML-4D are defined in terms of system technology, developed together with the specialist departments, tested and integrated and accepted by the customer. In addition, we support the program organization in the management of projects, the preparation of quotations and customer meetings.

The position involves assuming product responsibility for the front-end segment. The front-end segment includes the frequency generation, the transmission power generation on modern GaN technology, the antenna, the receivers, the analog-digital conversion, the control of the system, the power supply and the necessary infrastructure.

Your Tasks

Assumption of product responsibility for the development of the front-end segment for TRx-4D

Requirements engineering and management, especially for the front-end segment

Creation of system architecture and interface documents

Development of system concepts and processes

Allocation of requirements and definition of performance data for the subsystems, creation of specifications for the subsystems

Planning and carrying out system analyses

Creating verification and acceptance documents and carrying out system verification and acceptance tests

Planning, implementation and adherence to milestones

Coordination of multidisciplinary teams for the development of systems / products, close cooperation with specialist development, production, logistics and suppliers

Making solution decisions taking into account aspects such as reusability, opportunities, risks, scheduling, quality, costs, safety and technical performance

Willingness to travel occasionally is required.

Your Profile

Completed studies in engineering / electrical engineering with a focus on high-frequency technology or comparable

Several years of professional experience in this field

Experience in the development of radar systems

Experience in the field of HF measurement technology

Experience in the technical management of teams is advantageous

Knowledge of systems engineering procedures and methods

Knowledge of DOORS, MS-Project

Ability to work in a team, assertiveness and resilience as well as a confident manner

Business fluent German and very good English skills
